The truck died only once during this entire issue. This was attributed to to a bad battery that was causing multiple low voltage codes to pop up. The dealer replaced the battery and even though the P0091 code remained, no other instances of the truck dying happened.

It is fixed!! 03 duramax crew cab LB7.. No mods on truck and a little over 60k on the clock. After several trips to the dealer and this past week in the shop the problem is fixed. I had brought my truck to the dealer for a hard start (crank no fire) and an extended start issue. If you read the other threads (p0090) you will see what was going on.
