Jan 20, 2015 · I owned a 882 ssv about 15 years ago and loved the accuracy but hated the balance of the rifle with that synthetic stock. Any help would be appreciated. Ive read that the 917v stock might work. Can anyone confirm that. the 882L may work,but you may have to open up the barrel channel. eastbank. If yours is a pre '77 (or pre '83 for that matter) Model 25, it should be a Glenfield 25. Marlin discontinued the Glenfield line in '83 but continued to produce most models as Marlins.
