Rhodesia had major problems with racial discrimination. But much more than that, the country had major problems with extreme developmental disparity - it was essentially two countries. Imagine (on a much larger scale) if the entirety of europe were handed over to exclusive african rule overnight. Rhodesia also used some German G3s that they got from Portugal, who was an ally through the end of Estado Novo in 1974. The Portuguese tooling was later sold to PTR in the US. As for where to get one, I’d suggest FAL files and open your wallet. Anything Rhodesian is going to command a high price, and even parts kits are vanishingly rare.
