Try an ECM out of a 2.8l and the TBI to go with it, you are only .3l difference from that engine anyway.tbplus10. If your set on swapping to a carb go with a 4 bbl, it'll give you performance advantages and usually better mpg than a 2 bbl if you stay out of the throttle.
