I don’t even have the advanced tools yet and I’m about 8ish hours in.I need help finding "gunsmithing tools" in STALKER GAMMA . Gamma pack no gear from traders. Anomaly. I haven't been able to track down why traders don't have any guns or gear (apparel). As an egghead I can buy a veles detector but still no suits. No other traders have weapons. I briefly enabled trader overall though the optional MO2 menu section, but turned it off because i thought it might be the issue.

On Gamma, you have to do missions to get stash coordinates before they spawn anything. I wasted some hours looking for stashes and ...1. Crouch + walking. 2. Crouch + shift (like the shift button and the crouch button) 3. Check for "Low Crouch" under controls. STALKER has both a "crouch" and a "low crouch", which is kinda weird and confusing, but hopefully you should be able to get to "low crouch" with one of these solutions.
