The Staccato is basically a 1911. $1500 for a single stack 1911 is a lot when it's supposed to be a carry gun. The DVC, being a 2011, is a much more niche market where consumers will tolerate higher prices. A good 2011 mag is probably the cost of 3 single stack mags.
