I used the 86 page doc as supplementary - so i reviewed this doc while i was doing anki and Uearth but in hindsight, i think the doc is really helpful in helping me grasp the main concepts which is rly what you only need for the mcat. 1.KA 300 Page Doc Confusion . In the 300 pg. document on p. 60 it says that sensory memory is used to take in info from all senses but in the next sentence it states that there are only 2 components of sensory memory, echoic and iconic. The nice thing about Kaplan P/S is that it gives straightforward explanations, and you can refer to chapter summaries for organized definitions. In terms in comprehensive ness though, the 300 page doc goes into more detail and includes all possible testable content. I wouldn’t say forgo it completely, but use it as a supplement

Unpopular opinion, but the Kaplan P/S book slaps and I've been averaging 90%+ on USmurf P/S without touching the 300 page or 86. I do plan on going through the 300 page regardless though. Kaplan P/S was kinda lacking, the 300 pg doc is more succinct and comprehensive imo. I liked the Kaplan books. They explain about 60-70% what's in the 100 pg document. I can't read just bullet points. I would use the Kaplan book along side the khan academy document.I'm studying for P/S using the 300 pg doc too. What I've been doing is first, watch a few KA videos on a particular topic and read the associative section of the doc. Next, I make Anki cards that summarize the main idea of the videos and any terms or phrases I should memorize. Finally, I practice the Anki flashcards!

Kaplan sucks for P/S. It doesn’t hit the major points the same way and leaves a lot out that is tested. I think P/S is the one section you almost NEED to use anki for.
