Gear questions for 37" tires. I have a 2015 6.7 powerstroke with 37" tires and a 6" lift with stock 3.55 gears. I was wondering what would be the best gear ratio for the 37s? I'm only running about 1700 rpm at 70mph and 1000rpm at 55mph. The truck is very sluggish in 5 and 6 gear. I had a 3" rough country lift with 37's on 20" factory wheels. The tires did not hit the wheel wells but they did rub the frame pretty bad at full turn. The tires were 37x12.50 nitto trail grappler. You can do all the lift you want but the tires are going to rub the frame with the factory wheels because of the off set.So I have a 2019 ford f350 diesel truck in limited version. it originally came with LT275/65R20E. I believe all "limited" model came with that size. My 6.4 POS PSD would run all day long towing on level ground with 3.73s, 37s and a 6.4 in OD.So if your oem tires were 31” and you went to 37s that’s a 16% increase.
