The Palmdale Pet Shelter is one of the seven animal care centers of the County of Los Angeles Department of Animal Care and Control, offering a wide variety of pets for adoption. You can find strays, pets, and other animals at the shelter, and get low-cost services such as spaying/neutering, vaccinations, and veterinary checkup. The shelter is located at 38550 Sierra Highway, Palmdale, CA 93550. If an animal has been in our care ten days or less, the adoption fee is $50. If the animal has been in our care more than ten days, the adoption fee is $30. In addition to the adoption fee, the sterilization fee for a dog is $50 and $40 for a cat and the microchip fee is $7.50 (does not include national registration).
