I have no reverse and all forward gears and overdrive work perfectly but there is no engine braking in low 1 or 2. From what I've read in the manual I have narrowed the problem down to a faulty direct clutch.First, drop the pan and check the fluid and filter. If the fluid is still reddish and doesn't smell burnt and the magnet and filter just has fine dust, no chunks, just replace the filter and refill the fluid. Or you could just throw a $10 can of "Trans Tune" in it and see if it fixes a possible sticking valve.
